Breeding quality Australian Kelpies for performance, the show ring, and as a great pet. My dogs compete in almost every "doggy discipline" they are eligible for - shows, obedience, rally agility, endurance, herding, dances with dogs and tracking. I have been training and trialling dogs in obedience, agility and showing since 1990 and have a Certificate IV in Dog Behavioural Training/Companion Animal Services - the only Nationally accredited dog training course in Australia. My own dogs have gained 110 titles in showing, agility, obedience, agility, tracking, endurance, herding and dances with dogs. Dogs I have bred have gained that number many times over. Our dogs are raised in the house, given Early Neurological Stimulation and raised on raw natural food only. All breeding dogs are hip and elbow x-rayed, eye checked and heart checked by a cardiologist every year. Interested in Kelpies? Kelpies are very active, medium sized, intelligent, loyal Australian working dogs. I would not have any other breed and recommend them to someone with time to spend exercising and training their dog. You will have a loyal companion in return. I do not recommend kelpies for someone who does not have time to spend with their dog, or for someone that will not treat their dog kindly. Kelpies respond to kindness, and will willingly work (whether stock work, obedience, tracking or agility) for someone who rewards their efforts.
