We are passionate breed enthusiasts who have been involved with Finnish Lapphunds for 15 years. At home, we are owned by a trio of beautiful Lappies. We breed sparingly to ensure we can dedicate all our collective knowledge, experience and time in to caring for our mums and raising puppies without compromises. We breed one to two litters a year, meaning we may not have a puppy available when you get in touch. You are welcome to join our waiting list and get to know us better to see if we'd be the right fit for you, or we can refer you to other Finnish Lapphund breeders who share our sentiments and views on how dogs should be bred and raised, in a loving home environment. GlenTarella Borders is a haven for border collies. We are Steve Barnett and Emma Hill. We were both born and bred in the country and have always had dogs. After being married for many years, we decided that we wanted to really immerse ourselves in border collies. We are located near Talgarno just outside Albury Wodonga on sixty acres. We have dams and hills and the dogs just love the space. Emma is an accredited instructor with the Australian National Kennel Council. We are both members of the Albury and Border Kennel Club and Wangarratta Kennel and Obedience Dog Club. Emma has instructed with the Albury and Border Kennel Club and we have trained regularly with the clubs for obedience, Rally-O and agility. We compete in Obedience, Rally-O, Agilty and the show ring. We breed from time to time when we want to add a puppy to our family. Sometimes we have puppies for sale. Our dogs are very different personalities, some are 'super stars' who love the world looking at them and want nothing more than to be adored, some are 'working types' who will work all day for a simple 'good dog' and a quick pat. Here at Mambilou we love Frenchies, enjoying them as part of our family since 2010, however over the last couple of years I have become actively Involved in both showing and then selectively breeding French Bulldogs. I have only a couple of selected dogs which I show and they are very much part of our family, living inside and sharing in our daily experiences. Because we actively show our French Bulldogs, you may feel free to come along to the next dog show in Melbourne and meet myself and my wonderful Frenchies. We have recently imported some outstanding pedigrees from Poland to add to the pool gene in Australia and we can't thank everyone who has assisted with our program. We feel it is very important that people who wish to purchase a Mastiff be fully aware of the size that they can grow to. Obviously with such a large dog, the feeding and maintenance (worming, heart worming) costs are considerably more than most other breeds. And they do slobber! We ensure that our dogs have the necessary obedience training so that they are always under effective control in public places. This does not mean "off-lead", but being able to control your dog when you take him/her for a walk where there are people dogs and other animals. Training and socialisation are required - this means time. This is a giant breed of dog and needs to be managed carefully especially during the juvenile years of its life. Appropriate diet and exercise are especially important, and we do require our puppy owners to keep us informed of their puppy's progress. All our Mastiffs have their own respective paperwork and documentation and are hip and elbow scored as a minimum. We do require we are given first right to purchase the puppy back if the new owner can no longer keep their Mastiff, but this and much more is covered in the detailed sales agreement. Puppies go to their new homes with a six-week free health insurance policy. We strongly urge all owners to continue this policy for the life of the dog. Each of our own Mastiffs has pet health insurance. Our Mastiffs take an incredible amount of time, energy, money and emotion to produce. This is done for love of the breed and not for financial gain. We wish to place these special puppies in the best possible homes available.
